WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS?
The Pacific Club is an exclusive community of leaders and emerging leaders in the Vancouver business community. Our events are designed to bring together this community; we do so by hosting a series of speaker events with renowned business leaders from Vancouver and globally, as well as our annual major fundraising social events (currently in support of Mental Health Awareness and Movember), usually bringing together 200 to 300 attendees each event. In addition, we offer Members the exclusive opportunity to join our PAC Night socials, where they will be able to get to know other members in a more intimate but casual setting - often developing close relationships along the way.
THE PAC EXPERIENCE
Joining the PAC Club is not like joining any professional organization, we are looking to provide you more than just a professional affiliation. Instead, we continually strive to provide all our members a rewarding experience that they cannot find elsewhere.
WHO ARE PAC LEADERS AND SPEAKERS?
PAC Leaders and Speakers are some of Vancouver’s most prominent and successful business leaders in the community. For 29 years, we have sought after these industry leaders for our speaker series. Our list of PAC Leaders and Speakers includes:

We usually host up to 4 of these speaker series events per year, depending on the availability of our nominated and selected PAC Leaders and Speakers.
WHAT ARE PAC FUNDRAISING SOCIALS?
Each year, the Pacific Club hosts fundraising social events for our members and the community at large; both socials are aligned to help charities by raising funds and awareness. These fundraising socials usually draw in 200 to 300 attendees who come together on a night devoted to bring awareness to a particular charitable cause.
Currently, the Pacific Club hosts two of these PAC Fundraising Socials per year.
PAC Club’s Spring Social for Mental Health
In the Spring, the Pacific Club hosts its Mental Health Awareness Fundraiser in honor of Mental Health Awareness Week in Canada and to raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association. One in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. Around 450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.
PAC Club’s Moustache Bash for Movember
In the Fall, the Pacific Club hosts its Moustache Bash in hopes of raising awareness and money for the Movember Foundation. Movember aims to address some of the biggest health issues faced by not only men, who have prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental heath or suicide problems, but the women who support them. In Canada, testicular cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men worldwide. Across the world, men die an average six years younger than women, and for reasons that are largely preventable - which means that it doesn’t have to be that
way: we can all take action to live healthier, happier and longer lives.
WHAT ARE PAC NIGHTS?
Imagine a private area in a restaurant exclusively devoted to all of your friends and colleagues that you haven’t seen since our last PAC event - these friends and colleagues are not within your industry but are leaders in various industries throughout Vancouver, whether it be tech, finance, real estate, legal or accounting.
This is what we envision for you - an experience where we do the leg work of helping gather your leading industry friends and colleagues all to one place, at the same time.
Currently, the Pacific Club hosts up to 5 of these PAC Nights per year.
